In a landmark move that promises to reshape the landscape of electric motor sports, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) has unveiled a groundbreaking multi-year partnership known as Electric 360. This historic collaboration with Formula E, Extreme E, and E1 aims to drive technological innovation and advance the future of sustainable mobility through electric racing.
The Electric 360 initiative unites the pioneering spirit of Formula E’s high-speed electric car racing, Extreme E’s rugged off-road electric SUV competitions, and E1’s revolutionary all-electric powerboat series. This convergence of racing disciplines is set to accelerate advancements in electric technology, while championing the cause of carbon reduction and sustainable transport.
PIF also announced a significant brand refresh, reflecting its commitment to progress and transformation. The new brand identity will be prominently featured at all Electric 360 events, marking a new era of sponsorship and innovation for PIF. This rebranding aligns with PIF’s broader strategy of investing in key areas such as inclusivity, sustainability, youth, and technology.
The partnership will fuel thought leadership events, global STEM initiatives, and community apprenticeship programs, all designed to foster education and skills development in electric motor sports.
