PorchPals, a Nashville-based insurance startup, is on a mission to tackle the nationwide epidemic of porch theft. After its successful launch in California, the company plans to expand its package protection service to all 50 states by the first quarter of next year.

PorchPals offers a subscription-based service designed to provide peace of mind for online shoppers. For $15 per month or $120 annually, members receive up to $2,000 in coverage for stolen packages, backed by Lloyd’s of London’s Newline Syndicate. The service accommodates an unlimited number of deliveries, allowing consumers to make up to three claims per year.

“Our goal is to empower consumers by offering a solution that’s simple, affordable, and effective,” said James Moore, Co-Founder of PorchPals. “Package theft is a growing issue, and we’re committed to making protection accessible to households across the country.”

The company integrates seamlessly with major shipping providers like FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS, as well as with members’ home security systems and e-commerce memberships. PorchPals is designed to be shipper-agnostic, ensuring that no matter where or how a package is ordered, it’s protected.

Founded just before the pandemic, PorchPals emerged from the partnership of Moore and NFL player Adoree Jackson. Through KME Ventures, they’ve leveraged in-house resources to build a scalable model that not only protects deliveries but also positions the company for long-term growth.

With marketing spearheaded by Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort, PorchPals is gaining momentum as a value-driven brand. Experts suggest that the company’s unique service could make it a prime acquisition target for major retailers or credit card companies looking to enhance customer benefits.

PorchPals’ nationwide rollout underscores its commitment to tackling package theft at scale. By the first quarter of 2025, the company plans to bring its innovative service to porches across America, ensuring more consumers can shop online without fear of losing their deliveries.
