Wow. What can I say? When the idea first came to me to start my own astrology based, orisa venerated old school radio station, ALONE, it felt crazy. That was until my meditations with my ancestors revealed that I had been groomed for this divine assignment, from every angle, for all of my life.

The revelations ranged from the music I was raised on as a child, to my love for art and literature. They stretched from stumbling into KPVU FM 91.3 by chance 20 years ago, to playing a radio personality in a stage play before becoming one in real life. Oya owns the winds, and the winds carry the airwaves. She chose me to be Her daughter and priestess in 2017. In 2014, my astrology studies intensified after becoming a professional intuitive advisor. 222.9 is where it all fused together on Moonday, February 22, 2021.
Although it hasn’t been easy by any means, I am honored to be on this unique creative journey in preserving the musical history and legacy of our ancestors and living legends. It has been a joy creating a radio station for the Aquarian Age, preserving divine teachings that many want so greatly to demonize, water down, or ignore altogether. On this journey, I’ve leaned what it means to be a mother of invention, giving birth to a cosmic phenomena that just keeps growing.
In this moment, all I can do is shed tears of joy and give thanks. I give thanks to my Ori, Olodumare, my ancestors, gbogbo orisa, Kabiyesi O Sango Baba Mi, OYA MI DO!!!!! I give thanks to all of my listeners, followers and supporters, as i invite you to come on board! This is MY black history and women’s herstory in the making, and I manifest that it encourages you who is reading this to make yours. Below are the flyers from the previous three years of 222.9 The Mothership, and the milestones attached. Stay tuned….the beam up is real!
